How is # of "Foreclosed Homes" in Foreclosure Trends defined? I.e. time period? Does not tie to other foreclosure data.

Foreclosed Homes # does not tie to data on pending foreclosure, auctions and REO.  Is it a historical number and if so, for what time period?

The "Foreclosure Homes" number on the Trends page represents the total number of properties in some stage of foreclosure as of right now. That should match up closely with the total numbers in the "Pre-Foreclosure," "Auction" and "Bank Owned" tabs when you do a property search. It may be just a bit off because I believe it is updated once a day whereas the property search data is updated multiple times a day.

It will not match the totals in the other graphs on the Trends page because those graphs are based on total new activity in the most recent month.

All the rules have changed in the last couple of months. Lending banks are now being held accountable for the trap they set, borrowing money they didn't themselves have, while using loose and illegal practices in the process. The massive lawsuit against Wells Fargo / Wachovia, Indymac / OneWest bank, Citibank, Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, GMAC..............can actually, not only put a stop to your foreclosure, but also pause your house payments with no loss to you............ https://sites.google.com/site/sueyourlendernow/home
