We show the average time to foreclose in Florida is up to 749 days. That's from the time the initial foreclosure complaint (lis pendens) is filed in court to when the property is repossessed by the lender. Now keep in mind this is an average. The Florida foreclosure process can be as quick as 135 days, but of course all the delays these days are extending the actual time to foreclose much longer.
