Our mortgage company sent us many letters a couple months ago stating that our house was going to auction. How do I find out the details about my house?

I would contact your local courthouse with all your information. They will be able to tell you the details of the situation. Best of luck! http://www.trulia.com/profile/clairewills Michael James Real Estate Co. 1211 EMBARCADERO, STE. 210 OAKLAND, CA 94606

RealtyTrac has the information if you don't want to go to the court house.

The lender should send you a notice of the auction date and location. If you still live at the property you should receive it there.

You can definitely look up the property on RealtyTrac. You do have to be a subscriber, but you can sign up for the 7-day free trial to just go in and look up the information on your property and then cancel before the end of the seven days if you do not want to continue with the subscription and be charged.
